The International Light Association (ILA) 2017 annual conference will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A. between April 30th - May 3rd, 2017. The conference is open to members and non-members. ILA Membership attracts many benefits including a significant reduction in cost of conference registration.
The Sound Learning Centre's next EASIE one day training course for teachers and professionals working with pre-school and school starters will be on the 27th November 2008. A conference in tribute to the work of Dr Guy Bérard, developer of Auditory Integration Training (AIT) will be held at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel on 21 - 22 March 2015.
In March 2016 we attended the most successful conference in the history of the ILA, with multiple events, including presentations, "Light-in-Action" workshops, light exhibitions, and concerts which took place at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna - a truly splendid event!
In 2013 at its 68th session, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL2015) to recognise the importance of light-based technologies in meeting the needs of humankind.
As representatives of The International Light Association (ILA), Pauline Allen and Phil Stickland were delighted to have been able to attend the opening ceremony of the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL2015), held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, on 19 and 20 January 2015.
We are delighted that once again we have been invited to the Isle of Man to provide an Outreach Programme sponsored by Manx Mencap. We provide assessments, sound and light therapies to help children and adults with learning and sensory difficulties improve performance.

Our experience shows that our clients have experienced improvements in social, emotional, behavioural or academic performance following our sensory therapies.
