Pauline Allen addressed the PLDC Convention on Friday 26 October 2007 under the title "Lighting up people's lives – practical applications of light therapy in a clinic based environment". The conference was held from 25 till 27 October 2007 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, London, U.K.

Children of The Little Sparks charity have benefited from the fund-raising efforts of the their local police force. The charity raises money to children with neurological problems and the Sound Learning Centre has provided treatment for several youngsters via the charity.

The story of seven year-old Keane featured in several newspapers. Suffering from autism, Keane is highly sensitive to noise and will do anything to block it out. As a consequence he has been to hospital 22 times to remove a variety of toys, sweets, blue-tac and other things from his ears. The Sound Learning Centre has been providing AIT treatment for Keane and the parents have already noticed an improvement.

The Sound Learning Centre was featured on the 'Inside Out – surprising stories, familiar places' regional current affairs programme on BBC ONE on 19 September 2005. The BBC followed clients from first contact with the Centre, during Sound and Light treatment, right through to the final results. The Myomancy ADD/ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia website has more details.
During October 2004, the Programme 'You and Yours' on BBC Radio 4 featured the six most useful interventions that have been applied in cases of autism. We were featured on Monday 4 October and again specifically on Wednesday 13 October in respect of Auditory Integration Training (AIT).
