A qualified neurodevelopmentalist, dyslexia therapist, and practitioner in a range of sound and light and colour therapies. Owns and runs The Sound Learning Centre in London.
Background and Qualifications
After a wide-ranging career in business, trained in the early 1990's. Worked as a dyslexia therapist in London and Hertfordshire with a range of children referred by schools, local branches of the British Dyslexia Association and word of mouth recommendation.
Opened The Sound Learning Centre in London in 1994. In order to offer a more comprehensive service, she sought out training in many allied areas, wherever possible with the leading innovative practitioners in the field and has become a member of the relevant professional bodies, most of which have an international membership.
Sound
Trained in Bérard Auditory Integration Training (AIT) by Dr. Guy Bérard himself in France in 1994 and certificated in 2000 by Dr. Bérard to train others in the approach. Pauline has also trained in other approaches to sound therapy, in particular, Tomatis, Johansen, SAMONAS and The Listening Program (in the last 3 with the approach creators). Pauline is a certified trainer of professional practitioners in Bérard Auditory Integration Training (AIT).

Light and Colour
Trained in several colour and light therapies: in particular, in methods developed by Dr John Downing, Dr Steven Vasquez, Dr Theo Gimbel, and Dr Pierre Van Obberghen and provides a professional practitioner Lightwave Stimulation (LWS) training course.
Remediation Programmes for Neuro-Developmental Delay
Trained with the Institute of Neuro-Physiological Psychology (INPP), Chester.
A founder member of the Developmental Practitioners Association and completed training in the HANDLE approach developed by Judith Bluestone.
Educational Programmes
In addition to qualifications as a Dyslexia Therapist, has Diplomas in Instrumental Enrichment (IE) work developed by Professor Reuven Feuerstein, including IE for the Blind, Mediated Learning Experience and Dynamic Assessment (LPAD). Also trained in ARROW (Self-Voice Programme), the Irlen Syndrome, Educational Kinesiology, Facilitated Communication Training (FCT) and Thinking and Communications Tools (TACT).
